Our Commitment
We are dedicated to ensuring that the KWL Hub is accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities, by adhering to or surpassing the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and 2.1 Level A/AA (WCAG 2.0 A/AA and WCAG 2.1 A/AA) standards, as well as the Revised Section 508. - All fonts are carefully selected to balance font weight, character spacing, X-height, and line height and are designed to ensure readability for students with dyslexia.

- All images, infographics, diagrams, and visual content include alt text to describe their content for visually impaired students.
Captions and Audio Description
- Pre-recorded media includes closed captions and audio descriptions to support students with hearing and visual impairments.
Audio and Video Transcripts
- Downloadable transcripts are available for audio and video content to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Language and Clarity
- We use clear, simple language to explain complex concepts in our materials, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
- Glossaries are included in all our textbook series.

- Our materials are available on the NIMAC repository. NIMAC is a federally funded, online file repository of source files in the NIMAS format.
